Description
The microprocessor-controlled knee module is an important part of the prosthesis for people with a leg amputation at the hip level.Unlike a true "biological" knee, the prosthetic module must control the flexion and straightening of the "knee joint" without direct knowledge of the patient's intentions or changes in the environment.
The Exitus knee module is capable of automatically adjusting to the user’s walking .
The microprocessor collects and processes data on walking parameters and in real time calculates the currently required flexion and straightening force, controlling the module, it provides a controlled phase of support and transfer, insures, protects against stumbling, allows you to timely change the speed, adjust the emphasis, safely overcome ups and downs.
The Exitus knee module is similar in functionality to the product of the world leader Ottobock - C-Leg.
The autonomy of the module is 2-3 days, depending on the walking mode.
